Patrick Verbeke - Echos d'Acadie

🇫🇷 Cette parution a une saveur toute particulière pour Dixiefrog car elle a commencé à germer au printemps dernier au fil de discussions entre le label et le regretté Patrick Verbeke. Comme un avant-goût de projets inédits qui devaient naturellement suivre dans la foulée. La question s’est évidemment posée de sa sortie mais comment elle ne faisait aucun doute dans l’esprit des enfants de notre ami, vous avez donc là cet album forcément teinté d’une grande nostalgie. Comme un parfait hommage à cet artiste doué comme pas deux et tellement attachant ! Repose en paix l’ami !

🇺🇸 This release is very special for Dixiefrog as it began to see the light of day last Spring during discussions between the label and the sadly missed Patrick Verbeke; a kind of appetizer of unreleased work that was destined to follow. The question of its release was, of course, foremost in the mind of our friend's children, and the album is evidently steeped in nostalgia. A perfect hommage to this extraordinarily talented and affectionate artist; rest in peace, dear friend!
