Lorenzo Sanchez - Blue Avenida

Lorenzo Sanchez est un guitariste issu de la scène professionnelle du blues français. Ses origines andalouses, ses rencontres artistiques et ses fortes influences musicales des grands noms du blues comme Hendrix, Ry Cooder et Derek Trucks donnent naissance en lui à une forme musicale originale afro-américaine.

En tant que fondateur du légendaire groupe Miguel M & The BBB, lauréat en 1999 du prestigieux concours national du Chesterfield Café (jugé par Thierry Ardisson, Yvan Le Bolloch et Peter Kingsberry), ce qui a abouti à l'enregistrement de l'album "Live at the Chesterfield Café", Lorenzo a accumulé une riche expérience sur scène grâce à des collaborations avec des musiciens tels que Fred Chapellier, Johan Dalgaard (Cali, Gaétan Roussel, Johnny Halliday...), Philippe Brohet (Juliette), Greg Szlap, Mike Greene, Manu Codjia, Dave Crow & Andrew Balcon (Heymoonshaker).

Mêlant jeu de guitare sensible, inventif et puissant (nominé deux fois pour "Top 10 des guitaristes de blues de l'année" en 2000/2001 - Euroblues) avec des chants en espagnol et/ou anglais et spanglish, il s'est investi dans des esthétiques musicales mêlant chanson française, jazz, avec d'autres artistes (dont des collaborations avec Dorothée Daniel en featuring avec Anne Sylvestre, Agnès Bihl, Yves Jamait, Aldebert à la Scène Nationale "Le Nouveau Relax", etc. - résidences avec Hélène Labarrière, Hasse Pulsen, au "Château de Faverolles").

Sa musique est un mélange enraciné dans le blues, la soul, le jazz et le rock, parfois teinté de sons indiens ou hispaniques, sublimés par son jeu de guitare slide.

Blending sensitive, inventive, and powerful guitar playing (nominated twice for "Top 10 Blues Guitarists of the Year" in 2000/2001 - Euroblues) with singing in Spanish and/or English and Spanglish, he has been involved in musical aesthetics combining French chanson, jazz, with other artists (including collaborations with Dorothée Daniel featuring Anne Sylvestre, Agnès Bihl, Yves Jamait, Aldebert at the National Scene "Le Nouveau Relax," etc. - residencies with Hélène Labarrière, Hasse Pulsen, at the "Château de Faverolles").
