Ce premier album de Justine Blue, True, contient treize titres fabuleux. Onze originaux qui sonnent comme des classiques et deux covers qui annoncent la couleur et placent la barre très haut : “Willie And The Hand Jive”, joué non pas à la façon lymphatique d’Eric Clapton, qui l’a popularisé, mais dans la version originale de son compositeur, Johnny Otis, et “Yellow Moon”, des Neville Brothers. Chanter cette dernière après Aaron Neville, il fallait oser. Justine et son groupe l’ont fait, et s’en sortent haut la main. Ça groove de façon infernale et la voix de la chanteuse est un pur délice.

This first album by Justine Blue, True, contains thirteen fabulous tracks. Eleven originals that sound like classics and two covers that set the tone and set the bar very high: "Willie And The Hand Jive," played not in the sluggish manner of Eric Clapton, who popularized it, but in the original version by its composer, Johnny Otis, and "Yellow Moon," by the Neville Brothers. Singing the latter after Aaron Neville took courage. Justine and her band did it, and they come out with flying colors. It grooves insanely and the singer's voice is a pure delight.
